The new release of Mutanimalz is now available! Besides the obvious bugs and gameplay tweaks we have also included more maps and new music.

You can get the new version by going to the Mutanimalz page to the left or get it right HERE (remember to download and install the Microsoft XNA Framework Redistributable 3.1 as well).
This years 2nd round of Indie9000 is over! (0)

Its been a busy weekend here in Aalborg for the participants of this years 2nd round of Indie9000 (a game jam). Myself and two friends (Jan Jensen aka Flarfy and Mads Dancker-Jensen) grouped up by the name of Team Bismuth and started working on our project Mutanimalz based on the idea of adaption - which was the theme of all the games.

The main concept of Indie9000 is pretty straight-forward. You get a theme, get together in a group and then spend 48 hours working on a game! Then the best game is announced (everybody votes) and thats it!

We (Team Bismuth) ended up with two 2nd place for best use of theme and graphics, but took the grand 1st prize for best game!

You can download the game HERE! Remember to install the XNA 3.1 Framework (only 7mb) before running the game.

I'd like as a last note to thank everyone for attending the jam for being awesome and particular the organizers of the event (a huge +1 to Emil Kjæhr aka Dr. House) and of course a huge thanks also goes to my two team-mates for giving me the chance to work on this project and for being cool about everything! Cheers guys!

As any decent *cough* community based site BlastZone.dk now offers a free image hosting service for all the registrered users. This new functionality is of course implemented to be able to work with the new editor for topics, posts and comments as well.

You will be able to create galleries and upload pictures by clicking on the "My Pictures" link to the left side of the site. Enjoy!

Hi and welcome to BlastZone.dk!

My name is Michael Lynge and this is my personal game development and blog site online. I have always been a gamer since I got my first Commodore 64, but within the recent years my attention have slowly focused more on developing games myself.

Hopefully, this site will the playground for my ideas/thoughts about game development and various other things that I find interesting. For now I will focus on getting a forum and other simple features up and running so people visiting can create a profile (with the various features that require) and tell me what they think - and even better, give valuable feedback.

Stay tuned for the next update!
